| Homecoming Updates Mark your calendars for October 17 – 19, 2008. This is Homecoming Weekend at VSU. Friday will include a golf tournament, parade and FREE lawn concert featuring a VERY well-known artist with Top 20 hits. Saturday will feature the Alumni Association Annual Meeting, a breakfast for our Alumni of the Year and Graduate of the Last Decade, Tailgating, and, of course, the Blazers taking on Harding on Saturday evening. More information will be available soon. |

| FOOTBALL TRAVEL PROGRAM VSU at Newberry, August 30th The VSU Almni Association has reserved rooms at the Augusta Marriott and Suites (approximately 50 miles south of Newberry) for Friday night, August 29th. The cost is $109 and does not include transportation. We expect the rooms to fill up fast so make your reservations as soon as possible by calling our office at 229-333-5797 or 1-800-464-3638. *The Alumni Association will be hosting a Cocktail reception/Pep Rally on Friday night, August 29th at the Marriott at no extra charge for those staying at the hotel! VSU at North Alabama, October 25th The VSU Alumni Association is currently in negotiations with the Marriott Shoals Resort for a weekend package for this game. This trip WILL include transportation to and from Valdosta, GA. Please contact our office if you are interested in attending this event with us.
